Welcome Back FUNctionality and FUNdamentals

GovCMS is excited to announce the return of community-favourite events; FUNdamentals and FUNctionality. While both events are aimed at different audiences, they have the same purpose of helping you help yourself. The events focus on community needs, if that be tackling an issue, helping you learn a thing or two, or a complete “how to” session.

What is FUNctionality? 

FUNctionality was designed with our developers and technical customers in mind. This event focuses on all things technical including security, best practice, design, building components, modules, themes, and more. Previously we focused on modules including module permission and role delegation. 

FUNctionality is not for the faint of heart, it is for those who are ready to dive deep into the complexity of developing and maintaining a website. 

What is FUNdamentals? 

FUNdamentals sessions are short, walk-through sessions of simple functions available through GovCMS Drupal for community members without a technical background. Designed with our content editors, comms teams and publishers in mind, our FUNdamentals events start from the ground up. FUNdamentals make building and design simple. 

How can you decide what comes next? 

We’d love to hear your thoughts on what you would like to see at one of our next FUNdamental and FUNctionality events. No matter if you’re new to GovCMS, or a long termer, our event will have something for you. We want to know your pain points, what you’d like to learn and how we can make using GovCMS simpler.
