Welcome Back: What’s in store for 2024?

Tuesday 20 February 2024

Welcome back GovCMS Community! We hope you're all feeling refreshed after the break and had an amazing summer.

We're kicking off the year with some awesome updates, so buckle up for the ride! To cap off a fantastic 2023, we shared a roundup of our biggest wins and announcements that made the year such a success. Now, as we dive into 2024, there's even more excitement in store.

Here's a sneak peek of what's brewing:

  • GovCMS Drupal Services Panel (DSP) Expansion: We've pumped up the volume on our services! The GovCMS Drupal Services Panel now includes suppliers offering Digital Experience Platform (DXP) tools and services. Want to know more? Get in touch
  • We are doing something new in 2024 with our community events! This year we will host three smaller, half-day meetup events (1 per quarter) on-site at the Department of Finance in Forrest, Canberra.
    • Each meetup will be tailored to a specific topic and will encourage discussion and input from the GovCMS Community, with opportunity to learn-on-the-go throughout the event.

We will then round out the year with our popular Mega Meetup Event. This event will remain largely unchanged—being a full-day event with our Drupal Service Provider stalls present, and a fun and insightful day discussing GovCMS future directions, platform and dev updates plus presentations from our community members.

Mark your calendars because our first meetup event is here! Registrations are open for the March Meetup Event which will take place on Wednesday 6 March at the Department of Finance office in Forrest, Canberra. This quarter's spotlight - DXP and Rules as Code (RaC), a fantastic session to be led by Salsa Digital. You won't want to miss it!

Don’t forget we love feedback to help us continually improve. If you have burning questions about what's in store for GovCMS in 2024, we're all ears. Reach out on our Contact us form.

Here's to a stellar 2024 filled with innovation, collaboration, and, of course, all things GovCMS!
