What you said about the online GovCMS community

Our community drives what we do, so we’re always interested in hearing from you.

Thanks to those who responded to our survey and shared their experience with the online GovCMS community (Discourse and GovTEAMS). It’s clear there are many passionate members keen to help others and share their knowledge.

We have some great insights to help us establish the best collaboration tool to meet your current and future needs. You told us the GovCMS community is easy to use. We’ve also received a lot of great ideas about how we could improve this tool. Some include:

  • providing support for new members, especially non-technical specialists
  • reminding customers regularly about the community and tcanhe information available
  • reigniting a ‘community feel’ within our platform
  • publishing relevant content regularly to keep you coming back
  • streamlining channels to ensure you can find the information you need

The survey showed that one third of respondents didn’t know the online community existed, had forgotten about it, couldn’t access it due to internal restrictions or had no interest in using it.  We’ve got our work cut out for us - we’re already working on opportunities to increase interest and activity in our online community to improve your experience.
