PaaS Customers Get Excited - Content Purging Now Available
Our PaaS customers will be pleased to hear you will be able to perform your own requests to clear site content cached in the Content Delivery Network (CDN) via the Akamai purge service. At the simple click of a button, any time that is convenient to you and your agency, you will have the ability to manually purge files. This service enables the latest content updates to be promptly reflected on your website. Cached content served to end-users by Akamai is purged with a new version of your content presented without manual intervention.
The GovCMS purge service supports:
- Automated cache tag purging, all cache tags that form part of a content update published to production will now be purged from the CDN cache for your website automatically.
- User-initiated file purging, a Site Administrator will now be able to purge files from the CDN cache for your website via the Drupal admin interface.
