Online May Meetup Event – Thank You
We would like to send a huge shoutout to everyone who joined us for our online GovCMS Online May Meetup event. Your energy and enthusiasm lit up the virtual room, and it was amazing to see the community coming together, to help one another, and making it a truly unforgettable event. Thank you for taking part, and for those who missed out, here are the topics we canvassed:
GovCMS Roadmap
The GovCMS team shared their insightful presentation on what’s been happening so far in 2024 and what’s on the horizon.
So, what has 2024 entailed so far? GovCMS has already launched 16 projects, with 14 more to come by 1 July 2024. We’ve signed up 4 additional agencies, one of them being the High Court of Australia. Furthermore, we’ve launched our new Redirect Service. Existing websites are required to move to the new and improved Redirect Service by June with new projects automatically set up on the new Redirect Service by default.
Fast forward to 2025, GovCMS is looking at Content Syndication. We will also be trialling Self-service Dashboards starting with web content accessibility reports first.
Rules as Code project
The Rules as Code (RaC) project is underway with 8 sandpits currently in development. There will be one sandpit available per agency on the GovCMS platform. Finance’s Ministerial and Parliamentary Services sandpit is the first to be completed and was recently demonstrated. We cannot wait to see what other agencies develop. RaC information is now available on our website, if you are interested in getting involved in a sandpit, reach out on our Contact us form.
