Meet the team - introducing Kevin

Welcome Kevin to the GovCMS team. Kevin is the new GovCMS Customer Service Manager and is responsible for onboarding agencies, decommissioning old sites and responding to customer service enquiries within GovCMS.

With over nineteen years’ experience in information technology and a mix of business, Kevin has built from the ground up a strong service ethos and a passion for helping others.

“Majority of my previous workplaces consisted of a strong customer facing component. Over the years, I have delivered several technology projects as a project manager. The start of my journey was at the Australian Bureau of Criminal Intelligence, now known as the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC), as an Assistant Coordinator in the National Missing Persons unit. I adventured more into technology area by advancing within the Service Desk at ACIC. Eventually, I ended up leading the systems support unit.”

Kevin is passionate about helping the community, which is evident in his work for the ACT Fire Brigade. In a short period of time (with the help of SMEs), he totally revamped and digitised the training modules for new fire brigade recruits. This was widely acknowledged within the fire brigade as something that would assist them enable new recruits become functionally equipped for years after the work was completed.

“When I first saw the opportunity to join the GovCMS team, I felt it was time for change and this would be a great fit. I was delighted to receive a call from Nathan Wall about securing the spot in late 2021.”

Kevin enjoys being part of the team and contributing to the GovCMS ethos. Recently, Kevin facilitated a couple of the GovCMS Week Online Birthday Edition events and enjoyed getting involved with the community.

“I connect well with the GovCMS ethos of contributing to the community and sharing ideas. Additionally, GovCMS provides contemporary and terrific products and services to the end user.  My vision for the onboarding team is to see high performance and provide great customer service and support to all of the GovCMS Community.”

Outside of work, Kevin is a father to four and has an adorable dog known as Zorro. He loves adventuring outside and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

“Outside of work I enjoy fishing, keeping healthy, motorcycling, reading and for fun I also grow carnivorous plants.”
