Meet the team - introducing Giselle
Giselle is the Communication Account Manager in the GovCMS team. You would have seen her work in Agency Update and the GovCMS website. Her current challenge at work is to capture and share customer’s GovCMS journeys. These will feature in the new GovCMS customer gallery. Her challenge outside work is home schooling her son in Year 11 maths.
‘I’d rather write customer journeys than try to remember maths formulas from Year 11 any day! Seriously, it’s been great getting to meet people in the community and hear their stories of moving to GovCMS.
We’ve received some really good feedback from the community who find this information valuable. If you would like to share your story please let me know.’
Giselle joined the team in June last year. She brings over 12 years marketing experience to the team.
‘GovCMS is a good product to write about. It has so many great features and the GovCMS Community are engaging and fun to work with. Writing technical content can be a bit challenging. I’ve learned a lot of new terms since I started. I never thought words like ‘splunk’ and ‘kubernetes’ would be a part of my vocabulary. I hope though that I’ve been able to simplify technical content so it’s understood by all.’
When not in the office Giselle likes to kayak on the lake with Arlie, a five year old blue Staffy.
‘Arlie isn’t really built for swimming, but that doesn’t stop him from liking water sports. He loves sitting at the front of my kayak watching all the ducks. His enjoyment encourages me to exercise. Without Arlie I would be a couch potato.’
