GovCMS Roadmap Council – Nominations Open
GovCMS is in the process of maturing the GovCMS Community Roadmap. We’ve spoken about how it’s become more challenging to hear everyone’s needs now that the community has grown so much larger. It’s time to try something new and see if forming a council can improve how we manage this for everyone.
The Roadmap Council will provide digital teams a place to represent their needs, raise feature requests, and have more visibility of changes happening to the platform.
The idea of the Roadmap Council is to:
- Include different perspectives and experiences from a wide range of subject matter experts.
- Generate informal conversation.
- Nominate members for a term of 12 months (maybe 2 years?).
- Meet virtually a few times a year, with ad-hoc discussions occurring in GovTEAMS as needed.
- Have representation from a wide range of agencies (big or small agency with big, small, simple or complex websites).
We’re seeking nominations from individuals who would like to take part in the GovCMS Roadmap Council. We are looking for a wide variety of different skill sets. If you have technical expertise, have a problem you're trying to solve or a user experience need to share, please consider putting yourself forward.
Details will be announced soon on how you can nominate to be on the Roadmap Council. In the meantime, if you would like to know more details or be involved, reach out to us.
