GovCMS Finalises Hosting Contract

Following a Commonwealth procurement and evaluation process, Department of Finance is pleased to announce that Salsa Digital has been selected as the preferred supplier, who has partnered with amazee.io, as their consortium.  

No significant changes to the services will occur at this time. Salsa Digital will continue to provide Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) hosting on the public cloud with Amazon Web Services (AWS), using the Drupal open-source Content Management System (CMS). The partnership with amazee.io, will provide further enhancements to the service.

The new hosting arrangements will be in place from 1 November 2023. The end date is 31 October 2026, with a potential for 12-month extension option that the Department of Finance may execute under Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
