GovCMS is CELEBRATING its 300th site

Tuesday 5 November 2019

The eSafety Commissioner (eSafety) has now joined GovCMS as the 300th site hosted by the platform. eSafety is the world’s first government agency dedicated solely to online safety and their website is the front door to their reporting services, advice and guidance.

When they considered creating their website on the GovCMS SaaS platform, they had reservations that it wouldn’t be able to meet their need to ensure their various audiences could be serviced by unique, tailored designs and functionality. Now that they are live, Kathryn King, eSafety’s Head of ICT and Digital, feels differently:

‘The SaaS platform allowed us to deliver on our vision and its out-of-the-box security management was especially important to us to ensure our services are not only fit for purpose but secure.’

Since GovCMS was launched in March 2014, the owners of 300 sites, big and small, have made the choice to migrate from various platforms to GovCMS. With the digital community in government joining forces to build content rich sites, sharing code and design templates, we get so much further. There is more functionality available to agencies and a stronger support network that they can use.

The eSafety site is now live, but their journey is not over. They are determined to keep improving their site and actively engaging with users to make sure they continue to service the needs of Australians in having safer, more positive experiences online.
