Drupal 11 - Here we go again
Here we go again – Bring on the Drupal 11(D11) upgrades! We’re full steam ahead in the D11 project, busy building the distribution.
We presented our first D11 information session at our March Meetup. Don’t worry if you missed it, you’ll be able to catch up on all the news in our Drupal 11 section. It’s your one-stop-spot for timeline info and project updates. We also plan to have D11 information session every 2 months to keep you up-to-date.
The main changes to the distribution to note at this stage include adding the Book module and removing technical debt such as Panels, Panelizer and Page Manager modules.
The best way you can prepare for the D11 upgrade is to review your website and remove your legacy module technical debt. We've raised proactive tickets for impacted websites. If you are unsure if you are affected, please reach out and we can confirm if any of the modules listed form part of your website
If this seems too great a leap or you are unsure of where to start, or stuck in the development phase, we are here to help – get in touch as soon as possible.
Need support from a developer? Last year, we added new suppliers to the GovCMS Drupal Services Panel. There are currently 31 suppliers on this panel with the necessary skills and expertise to help you move your D10 website to D11. If you want to make use of the panel, we will guide you through the process. Get in touch to discuss your plans, or if you need help getting started.
